Verified ReviewerI accidentally hung up on my call - the previous one was about the "auto-skip" skipping the last part of many episodes. For example the friends s. 4 ep. 9 and 10.
I have watched plenty of shows on HBO Max, and I often notice (I didn't write it down every time, so I have forgotten many of the shows/episodes where this happens) that the last part of a lot of episodes on a few shows get cut off by the auto-skip function. This means that the last dialog, which often concludes entire episodes, gets interrupted with the start of the next episode.
I spoke to customer service, naming the episodes and shows I could remember, and was told that this would be looked at and hopefully resolved. :)
Preferred solution: I don't personally want anything, but I would like it if this fault was fixed within the app. :)

Terrible service. Unable to help with the live sports such as the NBA games I used to be able to watch with HBO Max app but have been unable to watch with this subscription through Verizons perk. Garbage service.

Very good shows but what does it matter when thé adds keep on playing i waited for 10 minutes and they kept playing. Very bad for a big Company i am disappointed.

When I first signed up the service it was decent. Over time service got progressively worse.
Overpriced is not worth service.
Everytime I would try and watch anything it would either continuously buffer, and get message error with this program or the screen would be green screen with the sound of what I was trying to watch.
When I went to cancel my subscription extremely frustrating talking to someone who DID NOT speak proper English, constantly having to repeat myself! Just as bad as having to press 1 for English.

I subscribed to this streaming app to specifically watch The Cleaning Lady from FOX television. You have the first two seasons and I am unable to stream it. I googled it to see if it was on and it sa.

I has a MAX account. Since I switched to Fios and signed up to the Netflix / MAX bundle, MAX is not active.
Verizon claims that it is active on their side.
MAX claimes otherwise. They both pointing fingers to each other and neither tech support can't figure out the problem.
Preferred solution: Get the service active

She canceled my membership for me and helped me reset my password in order to still stream until a certain date

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Issues not resolved yet. We are working on it. Has to do with credit card being compromised in November and obtaining new credit card with new number. HBO unable to charge December bill to old card
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. After an hour on the phone.
W t back to GO and started out on my own. Resolve the issue In 15 minutes.
OK so far. Issues still not totally resolved.
All other streaming services are through Direct TV. Want to move HBO Max to same.

I was not able to cancel my subscription online via website or app, simply there is no option to unsubscribe only to change your plan. However, after calling them directly they immediately responded to my request and I even received email confirmation that service will be cancelled for upcoming month while I was on the phone with a representative.
I am yet to see if there is still going to be charge on my card or not, but I will be able to despite with my bank if its happen, since I have email confirmation about subscription cancellation.
Representative was very nice kind and helpful. Recommendation for HBO just add option for subscription cancellation in the app it will save everyone time and people would be more open to sign up because they would know they can cancel it any time with several clicks.
