I received an email for the $2.99 promotion I could not access them through their customer portal they kept sending me links to renew my password that were expired so I called and customer service could not help me gain access to the portal nor renew my subscription that I had canceled 8 months prior due to new content and I figured with them sending me an email and offer any a promotional price I'd give it another try it did not work out

So I have been a long time customer of hbo max And have always had no problems with auto pay until Recently When I have Gotten payment Decline emails stating that a payment would not go through So I contacted customer service where I was given no help whatsoever on the issue. They just said that it had to be google or my bank. So I contacted my bank and my bank said It must be hbo max So I call back h b o max customer service And once again they could do nothing for me. I went shopping and my card worked fine. I paid other bills today and the card works fine. Hbo max would not accept a payment over the phone With my card. I believe It is their app that has the issues Because my card has worked everywhere else for everything else...rr

Fiona and Cake won’t play

every time I try to watch an episode of Fiona and cake on my account it will only play up until the second ad, and then the show will not play the ad or proceed playing no matter what I do or if I restart the app or the episode. Even using a different persons account through my account, it doesnt work

The Max customer service representative could NOT help me get the Max app installed and working on my Samsung Smart TV. Suggested I contact Samsung. A total waste of time. Lousy customer service. Showtime Anytime had no problem in helping me get their app and streaming service installed and working. Very disappointed in Max customer service. Premium priced but lousy customer service!

HBO doesn’t care

Ive been a loyal Legacy customer since 2020 and always pay annually. The card that was on file last year got stolen and so my auto renewal as a legacy customer to receive the $199 ultimate subscription for $149 didnt renew. When I called to ask if the customer service agent could update my info and just reactivate my membership they stated they couldnt and would need to escalate the situation to a higher customer service department. Which made absolutely no sense to me. Seeing as I called AS SOON as I was aware the subscription didnt renew (the app asked me to renew) on 9/24. I have no problem paying my renewal and the same card had been on file since 2020. Its a shame that I get penalized for something I wasnt aware of and wasnt contacted about after being a loyal customer for so long. I feel like HBO just gave me the finger and an oh well, take it or leave it option. Which stinks.

I purchased the yearly subscription with no ads because it showed I would get a 20% discount with that subscription. I took a screen shot of the offer to be sure that if I didn't get the 20% discount, that I would have proof to dispute the overcharge with my credit card company. I am a first time costumer and was charged full price. I'm am asking for a 20% refund off the $149.99 charge. Also, the HBO MAX app keeps crashing and I cannot change any profile pictures to a custom picture. I have tried to change it on multiple devices. Please help with these 2 issues. Thanks

The customer service representative was very patient and knowledgeable I could not retrieve my previous email account so therefore I could not log in the customer service representative guided me and also assisted on her end to change the email assigned to my Max account now I'm able to watch Max again customer service was five out of five stars thank you so much HBO Max
