HBO Max has been taking money out of my account since July 2023 and I canceled it in June 2023. I want my money back because I just noticed and I have the bank statements to prove it. My cancellation date shows that I'm very upset.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered.
I signed up for the Disney+ bundle which includes Hulu and Max and was able to sign into Disney and Hulu but not Max. I reset the password 3 times, no luck.
Turns out since I had previously had a Max account, it was using my old email even though when they sent the link to activate I used the new email. The agent instructed me to uninstall the app and reinstall, sent a reset link and it worked.

To find where I left off on my show or movie I fast forward, watch 30 seconds and repeat but their algorithm spams commercials every single time I stop to check if I found the spot where I stopped. You have to watch 10 minutes of commercials sometimes to pick back up where you left off.

Google keeps taking money out of my bank acct without my authorization. The don't let you speak anyone.
Every angle goes back yo them telling you to go to the website. I have canceled my acct but it keeps happening then Google won't let my take my debit card off without providing another method of payment.
These are issues I need to speakto someone about. But you can't so now I got to close my bank acct and never use it to purchase anything online ever again.

Max is asking for a password and a pin number, why is it doing this? It does not do it on my Max app on my phone and it is quite annoying. How do I get back to Max and getting to see Max?

I failed to write the password down relying on my memory bank. This is totally my mistake.

Go to max on my fire stick and get message get the newest version. Its time to update your Max app and get the latest.
Hit update and it takes you to support languages.
Will not go past that screen. Plus your customer service is not user friendly.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. After reading others’ comments and complaints about problems with HBO MAX connectivity, I received no help from HBO.
I finally figured it out myself, using my tablet instead of my iPhone to re-connect MAX on my TV with the code they provided.
That is not easy for a seventy-something person to figure out on her own! But it’s solved for now.
I had tried repeatedly to correct it myself but the MAX app circle just kept going around and around. MAX tech tried to help but nothing was working. She wanted me to re-boot my TV but I'm an older person with no one to help me and I said I couldn't do that. (She asked if someone in my house could help but then she tried to be sensitive to my needs.) She continued other attmpts including uninstalling & re-installing the app but while on hold, the phone was disconnected (automated voice came on asking for rating that I didn't give, then disconnected me).
No one called me back. VERY FRUSTRATING!
Too tired now and busy tomorrow. I don't know what to do next.
User's recommendation: Unless you are very tech savvy, get a tech to help you with this in person, or don't get MAX. I've seen only BAD reviews of this app. If they lose business, maybe they'll fix it.

I pay my HBO subscription through my cable provider and for some reason I was not able to log into my Max account. After contacting my cable provider and going through several steps that did not work I was refer to the max customer service. They were very patient and did everything on their hands until I was able to access the platform.

I sighed up for HBO MAX on my iPad and when I tried to sign in, it said that i didnt have an account, but i have three emails to confirm that i do. And then when it asked for me to Resubscribe when i just did it the day before.
It took it out twice.
And it said that Apple took it out and you guys took it out. But if i got it through apple then why did apple charge me 99.99 and you guys charged me 99.99?

I am a retired senior IT engineer and even I am unable to solve the issues inherent with HBO Max’s miserable rollout of their Disney/Hulu bundle. Repeated attempts and outreach to their customer support have failed to provide me the service for which I pay, so the only option at this juncture is to embarrass HBO Max before the state attorney general, which is exactly the course I am taking.
