- - Impersonators posed as HBO Australia manager and NY lawyer.
- - I wired a retainer for a fake film-rights contract for autobiography and was defrauded.
Reported to operator that a person called {{Redacted}} is impersonating {{Redacted}} Manager HBO Australia who sent me a fake/looked 100% legit contract to purchase film rights to my autobiography referred me to a person impersonating {{Redacted}} lawyer in *** ... sent/wired a retainer believeing genuine got defrauded.
I am in *** have chatted + emailed + telephoned *** they wont respond or do anything.
Hopeless speaking to your operator in *** and very frustrating she says she only services residents of *** who are streaming ***. These impersonators said they were meeting in HBO Headquarters in *** to discuss contract to purchase film rights to my autobiography Can send loads of evidence but nobody in HBO cares thus 1* review.

Unresolved and abandoned on phone

On hold over 29 minutes
Put me through to technical, and after 20 some odd minutes of being on hold, I have given up.
- Good shows
- Poor technical support and no follow up as long as you pay they dont care

My son hasnt been able to come over to unplug it yet - that was the recommendation for first step so still unresolved

The account was in my deceased husband's name and drafted from his now-closed account; therefore, money was drafted from my personal account. Who authorized this?

Smooth transaction
Customer service went smoothly, but it was hard to find the phone #. However, HBOMax is always freezing on me, which I am NOT happy about!

Signing up with you guys is easy but to CANCEL IS A NIGHTMARE.

This is a *** company, never purchase from them
You charged me $109 for one month of HBO Max. I had to go cancel that card and make a new one, because I wasn't sure if I was hacked.
- All of it especially the part where they took my 109 for nothing

You want me to contact the third party to ask them to push the payment through.

Sign up for Disney plus with hbo max tried to activate hbomax but had trouble with password with Disney took awhile to resolve when I came back to hbomax now cant log into hbomax
